GIVEAWAYS #5: From the TWC team, thank you for 2025 & hello to 2026! 🥂

This is Joe from the TWC team here in Sydney and I just wanted to start off by saying a big THANK YOU for supporting us this year! 

As we go into 2026, one reflection we've had was there wasn't an easy and all accessible way for us to share some of the time sensitive deals we have whether it comes from us or directly from our suppliers. E.G. we sold Lorcana First Chapter booster boxes for $200ea but only to a few Facebook followers! 

Therefore, we're planning to use Instagram stories ALOT more for timely deals!

As thanks and as a token to our future plans - we're doing TWO instagram giveaways (that we will film LIVE!). All you need to do is:

  1. Make sure you FOLLOW our Instagram (we will do frequent giveaways there)
  2. OPTIONAL but tag anyone to the post and if they follow, you will get an extra spot in the giveaway.

We will go through all the comments & follows at the end of this month and film the two winners!

Some of the key happenings in 2025:

  1. We officially launched our website in April 2025 after having been exclusively on Facebook & Instagram shop since 2023.
  1. We had close to 100 boxes of Hiroshima and Fukuoka cancelled on us from our (now no longer) Japanese suppliers and had to buy them in at the new market price (~$80 loss per box) to fulfill pre-orders.
  2. We were a first adopter of the Riftbound TCG (and consequently) received a sizeable Set 1 allocation (~40 cases) of which all have been sold and passed onto the community either through our website or through direct messages! (You can message us on Instagram if there is anything you would like)
  3. We've focused more on physical vending shows in 2025 and it's been great to connect with the community, with many plans to go to more shows in 2026.
  4. Our FaceBook community has grown from ~300 members to ~1,100 members strong! (and we plan to keep growing it) https://www.facebook.com/groups/thewanderingcollector
  5. Our Instagram got hacked back in February 2025, only for us to log back in on June 2025!
  6. And finally, we've just ticked over to 2,000 subscribers on our website!
